A University of Pittsburgh Football Tradition

I went to my first University of Pittsburgh Football game the other week. After the 2nd touchdown, my friend and I noticed that a girl in front of us had been lifted above her friends’ heads and was being tossed in the air for the number of points on the board. Then, they did it again after the next goal! Later in the game, we looked across Heinz Stadium to the student section, where DOZENS of girls were being lifted by their friends and thrown in the air! What a tradition!
